YMCA of Greater Williamson County

The YMCA of Greater Williamson County is an organization dedicated to to youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.  Many people know the Y only as a gym or a place to go swimming, but the Y has a lot more programs to offer including, sports leagues, exercise classes, camps and much, much more.  To make all of the programs possible the Y needs volunteers.

Anyone, 16 or older, who exhibits caring, honesty, respect, responsibility and faith values (the YMCA mission) and who want to make a difference are welcome to volunteer at the Y. Volunteers are needed in various capacities including serving as a youth sports league coaches.

To become a volunteer you need to contact your local YMCA of Greater Williamson Country branch location and ask about opportunities.  Then you will need to fill out a volunteer application and give it to the supervisor of the department you would like to volunteer with.  (The Y will also need a copy of your driver’s license or another form of id).  After your application is reviewed and a background check is run you can start volunteering!
