Back to school volunteering opportunities

The arrival of August means the end of summer and the start of the school year. To help make sure the school year gets off on the right start we want to share a couple of volunteer opportunities:

Round Rock ISD school supplies distribution –
RRISD expects to serve over 5,000 students this year and needs your help to do this. Volunteers are needed to help with their school supplies distribution on August 15 from 9-2 and August 16 from 9:15-12:15, 12-3:15 and 3-6:15. To volunteer click here.

The school district also requires that volunteers complete a background check to volunteer for other activities and/or to be a mentor. To learn more click here.

Georgetown ISD mentors/tutors/volunteers –
In order to volunteer as a mentor, tutor or general volunteer with Georgetown ISD you must complete a background check. Click here to access the background check. Make sure to fill yours out early, so you are able to volunteer when school starts.

Pflugerville ISD volunteer opportunities – 
Pflugerville ISD has many volunteer opportunities throughout the year including serving in their MEN (Mentoring, Encouraging, Nurturing) program, parent involvement and helping in their various libraries. To learn more, volunteer and to fill out a background check click here.
